The Manning School of Business at UMass Lowell is accepting applications for its PhD program in Business Administration (for Fall 2019). As one of the leading research-oriented business schools in the New England area, we're looking for applicants with strong academic backgrounds and intellectual curiosity about the nature and workings of both business organizations and markets.

In addition to rigorous and in-depth courses in research theory and methodology, we provide the opportunity to work with cutting-edge research faculty within your chosen field of study, as well as the flexibility to tailor your own research agenda. Our PhD students are given access to the same research resources available to our faculty. In addition, you will be exposed to innovative teaching techniques and have the opportunity to develop your teaching talents while in the program.

The program is available on a full- or part-time basis. The expected length of the program is four years for full-time students, and no more than seven years for part-time students. Accepted full-time students can apply for Research and Teaching Assistantships, which include tuition waivers and an annual stipend for up to four years.

Visit our website to learn more about the program, the application process, or to read about our research faculty and current students. For additional information contact: Elana Feldman, PhD Coordinator, Leadership/Organization Studies Concentration, at Elana_Feldman@uml.edu.

If you are in the area, join us at our Open House on Tuesday, September 25, 6:30-8:30pm. It will be held in the Alumni Hall Lounge on the UMass Lowell campus. You'll get a chance to meet and learn about our faculty and current students. Please RSVP using the link on our website above, by September 21. (Street address: 84 University Ave, Lowell, MA; Park in any University lot).
