Who Should Attend?  This online session is open to all members of GDO.  We particularly encourage our international members, doctoral students, and others who cannot attend the Academy conference, to participate in this workshop.

When:  June 7th from 9:00 to 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time.

Where:  Anywhere you are.

As a benefit to our members, the Gender & Diversity in Organizations Division is offering a virtual paper development workshop to members with questions about incipient research projects, ranging from the idea stage to early data collection. Three experienced GDO researchers–Ed Ng, Belle Rose Ragins, and Eden King–have agreed to provide general thoughts on the early stages of the development of research projects and offer advice to researchers with questions about their own projects. The focus of this virtual session is on the early stages of the development of research projects.  Later-stage questions are welcome; however, we want to also encourage those with more well-developed projects to consider attending the paper development workshop at the Academy conference in August.

Please save the date for the workshop, which will be held on June 7th from 9:00 to 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time. Details for logging in will follow. Additionally, we would like to get a sense of how many people will attend and what types of questions participants are most interested in. Please follow the link below to indicate your interest and suggest questions you would like the panel to address. We will devote the first half of the session to addressing the three most common questions raised in the registration survey. During the second half, participants will be invited to ask additional questions. You do not need to bring a question to attend the session – you are welcome to just log on to listen to response to others’ questions.

If you have questions about the session, please contact Charlice Hurst (churst2@nd.edu) or Caren Goldberg (caren.goldberg@yahoo.com).
